أكد د. إبراهيم صابر محافظ القاهرة أن مبادرة شارع الفن بمنطقة وسط البلد تهدف إلى تحويل مدينة القاهرة إلى عاصمة فنية ، ثقافية ، سياحية، وتحويل عدد من شوارع القاهرة إلى مسرح مفتوح، يقدم الفن الراقى، مشيرًا إلى أنه سيتم تعميم التجربة في أماكن كثيرة بالمحافظة حال نجاحها.
جاء ذلك خلال اجتماع المجلس التنفيذي لمحافظة القاهرة بحضور نواب المحافظ للمناطق الأربعة، ومديري مديريات الخدمات، ورؤساء الأحياء، وعدد من قيادات المحافظة.
ووجه محافظ القاهرة نائب المحافظ للمنطقة الغربية، ورؤساء الأحياء بالتعامل بفكر جديد مع منطقة القاهرة الخديوية وذلك بإقامة الأنشطة الثقافية، ومعارض الحرف التراثية.
كما وجه محافظ القاهرة رؤساء الأحياء بتشجيع الشباب، والقطاع الخاص، والمجتمع المدنى للمشاركة في مبادرة المشروعات الخضراء، مشيرًا إلى أن الحساب الذي قامت بفتحه المحافظة لدعم المواهب وأفكار الشباب المتعلقة بالحفاظ على البيئة قد تلقى تبرعات بقيمة ٢ مليون جنيه من جامعتين .
كما وجه محافظ القاهرة خلال الاجتماع بسرعة الانتهاء من مشروعات الخطة الاستثمارية للعام المالى ٢٠٢٥ / ٢٠٢٦ وتوفير سُبل تذليل أى معوقات قد تعرقل أو تبطئ عملية التنفيذ ، وذلك لنهو الأعمال وفقًا للجداول والخطط الزمنية المحددة.
