تزامنًا مع حالة الحزن التي خيمت على الشارع المصري بعد العثور على جثامين ضحايا مركب الهجرة غير الشرعية التي قذفتها الأمواج إلى سواحل سيدي براني بمحافظة مطروح، أعاد رواد مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي تداول مشهد تمثيلي مؤثر للفنان الشاب حمدي عاشور بعنوان «أحلام ع الموج»، والذي تناول قضية الهجرة غير الشرعية واللحظات الأخيرة في حياة الشباب قبل غرق مركبهم في البحر.
وكانت السواحل قد شهدت مأساة إنسانية بعد مصرع 12 شخصًا في حادث غرق مركب هجرة غير شرعية، في واقعة أثارت تعاطفًا واسعًا، خاصة مع تكرار حوادث الهجرة الخطرة التي يدفع ثمنها الشباب الباحثون عن فرصة للحياة خارج البلاد.
المشهد الذي قدمه حمدي عاشور لاقى تفاعلًا كبيرًا عبر منصات التواصل، حيث جسّد من خلاله حالة الخوف واليأس والأحلام المعلقة لشباب قرروا خوض رحلة الموت عبر البحر، قبل أن تنتهي حياتهم في لحظات مأساوية.
وكتب عاشور تعليقًا مؤثرًا على العمل جاء فيه: «اللحظات الأخيرة قبل انقلاب مركب الهجرة غير الشرعية!! أصعب تجربة.. زمن كل حاجة فيه غالية.. إلا إحنا!!».
