تغادر بعثة الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بالنادي الأهلي اليوم الخميس إلى الجزائر، على متن طائرة خاصة، استعدادًا لمواجهة شبيبة القبائل، المقرر إقامتها في التاسعة مساء السبت المقبل بتوقيت القاهرة، ضمن منافسات المجموعة الثانية من دور المجموعات لبطولة دوري أبطال أفريقيا.
ويدخل الأهلي المواجهة وهو في وضعية مريحة نسبيًا، إذ يكفيه تحقيق الفوز أو الخروج بنتيجة التعادل لضمان التأهل رسميًا إلى الدور ربع النهائي من البطولة القارية، التي يسعى «المارد الأحمر» لاستعادة لقبها.
ويرأس البعثة محمد جمال الجارحي، عضو مجلس إدارة النادي، بعد أن أنهى خلال الأيام الماضية ترتيبات السفر بالتنسيق مع وليد صلاح الدين مدير الكرة، لتوفير أفضل الأجواء للفريق قبل اللقاء الحاسم.
ويتصدر الأهلي جدول ترتيب المجموعة برصيد 8 نقاط، بعدما تعادل في الجولة الماضية أمام يانج أفريكانز التنزاني بهدف لمثله خارج الديار، محافظًا على موقعه في الصدارة قبل جولتين من ختام دور المجموعات.
