وجه الدكتور جمال شعبان، استشاري أمراض القلب وعميد معهد القلب القومي الأسبق، رسالة إلى طلاب الثانوية العامة المتفوقين وأولياء أمورهم، بالتزامن مع إعلان نتيجة الثانوية العامة، مؤكداً أن كلية الطب ليست مجرد مهنة، بل رسالة إنسانية سامية تأتي بعد رسالة الرسل في تخفيف آلام المرضى ومساندة المحتاجين.
وقال شعبان، في رسالته للطلاب الحاصلين على أعلى الدرجات والراغبين في الالتحاق بكليات الطب ليصبحوا مثل أيقونة الطب العالمية مجدي يعقوب: «أهلاً بكم في كلية الطب، كلية الحكمة، ولن تندموا أبداً، فهي ليست مجرد مهنة فقط، لكنها رسالة إنسانية عظيمة، والطب يعطي الكثير لمن يجتهد فيه ويخلص لرسالته».
وأضاف أن من يسعى لأن يكون مثل السير مجدي يعقوب، عليه أن يتحلى بالتفاني والعمل الجاد، مؤكداً أن النجاح في المجال الطبي يعتمد على الاجتهاد والعرق أكثر من اعتماده على الموهبة وحدها، مشيراً إلى عراقة المدرسة الطبية المصرية ومكانتها المتميزة.
وهنأ شعبان الطلاب المتفوقين وأسرهم، قائلاً: «هنيئاً لكم ولوالديكم الذين بذلوا النفس والنفيس من أجل تلك اللحظة، وأتمنى أن يمد الله في أعمارهم حتى يشهدوا ثمار نجاح أبنائهم وهم يؤدون قسم الطبيب».
ووجه استشاري القلب رسالة خاصة إلى أولياء الأمور، دعاهم خلالها إلى غرس الثقة بالنفس في أبنائهم وإخبارهم بالفخر بهم بغض النظر عن النتيجة، مشدداً على أن النجاح الحقيقي يكون في الحياة بشكل عام، وأن الثانوية العامة ليست سوى محطة في طريق طويل وليست نهاية المطاف.
كما طالب الطلاب بضرورة تقبل النتيجة والرضا بما قسمه الله، وحمد الله وشكر الوالدين، والتحلي بالثقة بالنفس والفرح باعتدال، محذراً من الاستسلام للحزن أو القلق والتوتر، مؤكداً أن العبرة ليست بالمجموع النهائي في الثانوية، وإنما بالنجاح في مشوار الحياة كله.
واختتم الدكتور جمال شعبان رسالته بتمنياته لجميع الطلاب بالتوفيق والنجاح، قائلاً: «مصر فيها ناس حلوة.. ما تزعلوش».
