سجلت أسعار النفط ارتفاعًا ملحوظًا خلال التعاملات الأخيرة، حيث صعدت العقود الفورية لخام برنت بنسبة 4.4 %، بما يعادل نحو 3.6 دولار، ليصل سعر البرميل إلى مستوى 90 دولارًا، ليسجل أعلى مستوى منذ أبريل 2024.

وجاء هذا الارتفاع في أعقاب اندلاع المواجهات العسكرية في 28 فبراير الماضي بين الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل من جهة، وإيران من جهة أخرى، وهو ما تسبب في اضطرابات كبيرة بأسواق الطاقة العالمية.
وأدت التطورات العسكرية إلى تعطّل حركة عدد من ناقلات النفط المارة عبر مضيق هرمز، أحد أهم الممرات البحرية لنقل الطاقة في العالم، والذي تمر من خلاله نحو 20% من الإمدادات النفطية اليومية عالميًا.
