نقلت صحيفة «يديعوت أحرنوت» العبرية عن مصادر في الكابينت الإسرائيلي قولها إن رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو، مستعد للتنازل بشأن مسألة انسحاب الجيش من محور «موراج» في قطاع غزة.
وزعمت المصادر أن رئيس حكومة الاحتلال «عازم على التوصل إلى اتفاق»، قائلة إن الفريق الإسرائيلي المفاوض في الدوحة يعمل بجد ويناقش حاليًا «خرائط محدثة لانسحاب الجيش من غزة».
وأشارت إلى أن «نتنياهو مستعد للتنازل عن أمور لم يُتنازل عنها من قبل»، لافتة إلى أن تل أبيب ستتخلى عن خطط إقامة مدينة إنسانية في رفح، حال التوصل إلى اتفاق.
وفي وقت سابق، كشفت صحيفة «يديعوت أحرونوت» أن نقاشًا مغلقًا داخل «الكابينت» المصغّر لحكومة الاحتلال، عقد مساء الأحد، كشف تقديرات لجيش الاحتلال تشير إلى أن إقامة ما تُسمى «المدينة الإنسانية» في منطقة رفح، قد تستغرق أكثر من عام، بتكلفة تُقدّر ما بين 10 إلى 15 مليار شيكل (نحو 3 إلى 4 مليارات دولار).
وبحسب الصحيفة العبرية، فإن رئيس حكومة الاحتلال بنيامين نتنياهو، أبدى غضبًا شديدًا خلال الاجتماع حيال هذه التقديرات، وطالب قادة الجيش بتقديم «جدول زمني أكثر واقعية»، على حد تعبيره.
وفي ختام الجلسة، أمر نتنياهو بإعداد «خطة محسنة»، مؤكّدًا أنها يجب أن تكون «أقصر زمنيًا، وأقل كلفة، وأكثر عملية».
وفي تطور لافت، أفادت الصحيفة أن رئيس أركان جيش الاحتلال إيال زامير، دخل في مواجهة مباشرة خلال الأسابيع الماضية مع كل من نتنياهو ووزير المالية المتطرف بتسلئيل سموتريتش.
وشدد زامير، على أن جهود تجهيز البنية التحتية لهذا المشروع تسحب قدرات الجيش من مهامه الأساسية، وعلى رأسها مواصلة القتال ضد حماس واستعادة الأسرى.
